On 1 and 2 October 2026, the 11th Construction Machinery Technology Conference took place in Dresden. MB Spezialabbruch was represented with its own technical presentation.
Our Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Peter Mittelsdorf presented the topic “Remote-controlled demolition of reinforced concrete using the decommissioning of radioactively contaminated structures at Grafenrheinfeld Nuclear Power Plant as an example.” 260825_FTBMT_Programm_26_A4
The presentation focused on our concept for the remotely operated and partially automated dismantling of reinforced concrete structures, with the aim of carrying out demanding dismantling work safely and efficiently while minimising personnel exposure. 2026-04-21_Abstract_P.Mittelsdo…
The presentation was complemented by Dipl.-Ing. Bernd Rudat of VOSTEC Rudat, who introduced the extraction system used as part of the overall concept. 260825_FTBMT_Programm_26_A4
In addition to the technical presentations, the conference provided an excellent opportunity for professional exchange with representatives from industry, research and practice.
