DriveBreaker

Developed by: MB Spezialabbruch GmbH & Co. KG
Development timeframe: 2008

We developed the DriveBreaker as a special demolition device for the safe dismantling of tall, tower-like structures such as industrial chimneys.

The DriveBreaker is a subsequent development of our Spider Excavator, which features greater flexibility in how it can be used.

It’s controlled remotely by our trained operators, who are always at a safe distance from the demolition operation.

Various attachments can be fitted to the boom, as needed, through which the edge of the structure is successively removed.

During the demolition process, the DriveBreaker moves on the rollers of the substructure as well as by controlling the boom legs, moving it down to the excavated lower level and thus constantly following the demolition site.
