In March 2026, MB Spezialabbruch GmbH commenced the technically demanding dismantling of a 75-meter-high telecommunications tower constructed in reinforced concrete in Neunkirchen. Due to the structure’s height and its massive construction, the project requires a specially developed and technically sophisticated dismantling concept.
The tower is being dismantled using a custom-engineered, step-by-step demolition and dismantling method. Specialized demolition equipment and a precisely coordinated safety and logistics concept are employed to ensure that the work at significant heights can be carried out efficiently and safely.
This method allows for a highly controlled removal of the reinforced concrete structure, ensuring maximum safety for both personnel and the surrounding environment.

As part of our ongoing dismantling project at the telecommunications tower in Neunkirchen, Saarländischer Rundfunk produced a feature for its news programme “aktueller bericht”.
