100. CICIND Conference

Topic: “Tall Structures for sustainability and renewable energy”
We are a member of CICIND, the International Committee for Industrial Construction. Twice a year, in spring and autumn, CICIND organizes conferences for all its members. In most cases, a member invites to a conference in their home country or city and sponsors parts of the event. Since its foundation in 1973, CICIND has organized a total of 99 conferences, spread all over the world and on all continents. The CICIND Conference in Hamburg in May 2024 will be the 100th event of its kind and therefore an anniversary.
After a reception on the first evening, the actual conference will start with numerous presentations. The most important topics here include renewable energies and new methods for the safe construction of tall industrial buildings. But the topics of automation and artificial intelligence will also be addressed.
On Friday morning, there will be a presentation on the major topic of climate change. Research work on sustainability in industrial construction will then be presented. A panel discussion on the energy sector and sustainability will conclude the conference. This will be followed by the Normal General Assembly for CICIND members before the CICIND Conference in May 2024 officially ends.
The entire event will be rounded off by an extensive accompanying program. Among other things, the conference participants will have the opportunity to get to know the Hanseatic city of Hamburg.
