Successful dismantling of the cooling tower of the Mülheim-Kärlich NPP

MB Spezialabbruch - Projects: Mülheim-Kärlich NPP, controlled collapse of the cooling tower

The dismantling of the cooling tower of the Mülheim-Kärlich nuclear power plant was successfully completed.

It is done! The 162 m high cooling tower of the decommissioned Mülheim-Kärlich nuclear power plant is history. On Friday, 8/9/2019, shortly after 3:30 p.m., we carried out the controlled and safe collapse of the cooling tower thanks to the use of a novel demolition technology. In the video you can see the spectacular completion of the work on the dismantling of the cooling tower of the Mülheim-Kärlich nuclear power plant.

The Rhein-Zeitung also reported on the event, which was attended by numerous onlookers. You can find the article here (in German)
