On September 5, 2009, at around 11:00 a.m., the first nearly simultaneous folding detonation of two 300-meter chimneys took place.<\/p>\n

Creating the boreholes and inserting the explosive charges at heights of 33, 120, and 210 meters each required a great deal of technical expertise and exact compliance with safety requirements. The blasting of the two chimneys with a total of approximately 500 kilograms of explosives was successfully carried out with a time delay of three seconds using electronic ignition. The total of 42,000 tons of concrete fell in the intended direction without causing any collateral damage.<\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
